Imagine that that Lakers ping pong ball pops out in the #1 slot....it could happen.

Who would the Sixers have to pick?

Ayton is the obvious choice, but what do you do with Embiid and Ayton at the same time?

Pick Ayton and trade down? For who and what? I don't really trust anyone else in the draft but the centers. What could the Sixers pull for an Ayton trade?

I feel like this would be a bigger deal than the Cavs drafting Wiggins.

Assume the Sixers are signing :troll: next year in the scenario.

I think you trade the pick at that point. I have no clue.

Sixers would take Doncic if they got the 1, they'd use him as the Fultz insurance and Redikk replacement long term.

It would complete their 6'8" cypher, where everyone in the lineup is 6'8" or taller.

11th pick hasn't moved up to #1 since the magic got penny and the odds have lowered since then

the only other time a pick that low moved in the top 3 was '99 when the hornets got #3(jumped from 13th). Possible but it's realistically a slim to none chance

the 6-9 picks are the ones that move into the top 3 the most frequently. It happens damn near every other year

You pick Doncic or trade the pick. Doncic fits the team so well and Then you can unleash an all 6’7 and up lineup for real.

They don't even need a draft pick to do that, they just need to sign Bron, I pointed that out a couple months ago.

6'10" Simmons
6'9" Covington
6'8" Bron
6'10" Saric
7'0" Embiid

And remember when teams used to go twin towers? When PF used to be a role you gave to a defensive/rebounding specialist? When Ralph Sampson and a very raw Dream took the Celtics to 6 in the NBA Finals?

6'10" Simmons
6'9" Covington
6'8" Bron
7'0" Ayton
7'0" Embiid

:damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:

3-2 zone with Simmons and Covington on the wings and you wouldn't even have to have them run out to the corners, their length would practically wall the corners off. Embiid and Ayton on either side of the key and Lebron directing traffic at the head of the beast, daring guards to go by him and meet their doom?

:ohlawd:

When this becomes every team, every game:

I just don't feel like you can justify taking Doncic #1 when Ayton is sitting there. He just doesn't click for me. If you want Doncic, you tell everyone you're taking Ayton and have an auction to see who will give you Doncic and the biggest extra prize...something like next year's #1 too at least.

It's unlikely, but not impossible. 1 in 100. Hell, their chances of top-3 are just 1 in 30....

Ayton would sit out if drafted by them plus I like the personality and thought of having Doncic dude is a baller and a euro phenomenon like we haven’t seen.
