The spacing with Simmons as the primary is bad if the goal is to get a post up, he can't make an entry pass into the post or else his man will either double or fake the double. They ran a post up late in the game and Jaylen almost stole the pass because of how far he was playing off Simmons and dug down as soon as the pass was made. They need to swing the ball if they want to post up Embiid, what they're doing now wont work against good coaches and it's why Stevens started Baynes and Horford. He knew that Horford could play off Simmons and give a double if they decided to post up Embiid, he took a lot of jumpers but that's a result of Ben going to the rim and him having to clear out.

Everytime Simmons wasnt bringing the ball up he was literally sprinting to post up, thus forcing everyone to be spot up shooters including Embiid, who had Aaron Baynes on him majority of the time. That possession in the fourth he had Kyrie switched on him and Simmons didn’t even clear out, bringing about three defenders on him. The minute Simmons was out at the end of the 2nd Embiid went to work down low on the Celtic bigs. And then there’s the issue with fultz, who needs the ball also to operate. Simmons probably needs to come off the bench and orchestrate that second unit

Simmons aside from being a terrible finisher did not make Embiid ineffective.

If anything Brett Brown is the one that should be worried.

It's not just his death kiss you have to worry about, Swag has been committing necrophilia with his posts/threads about Embiid lately. The universe can only do so much to counter it. I'll keep you in my prayers.
