I hear ya, but consider that everyone from Lebron to Durant to Westbrook to Curry to Kyrie has had the tag line narrative of soft, choke artist, sabo, brittle, selfish, etc... until they finally overcame something to make people (temporarily) forget. Kyrie did it before against the GSW but it took him twice bc the first time he was hobbled and still considered brittle. Lebron to this day still gets his labels bc 2016 ain't erasing how he made some feel in 2011, or 2010. or 2017. Or the stigma of playing in the East.Only thing is LeBron and Kyrie has done it before against the warriors in the playoffs while we’ve only seen cp3 have a serie like that once and harden never
For Hou, WCFs bare-minimum is my expectation. Past that, what else can you say about a GS matchup that doesn't apply to any other contending team? You're gonna have to come up big in 1 or 2 close games, to decide if it's a 5 game Warriors sweep or a 6-7 gamer. Thats what Hou and OKC face. If they do it, one team of players will get their narratives erased (for a bit anyway), and if they don't, it'll be the ish we've always heard.
