It's crazy to me just how contradictory much of the media is. I'm listening to The Ringer NBA podcast and one of the guys is going as far as to say Demarcus doesn't deserve to be an all star. About how because he has the moments of not getting back on defense, bad body language, and too many turnovers (all true) that he shouldn't make me. But then will turn around and say Lebron is MVP because of his stats. This isn't even about Lebron cause he probably is my MVP so far. It's just funny seeing how so many NBA writers use a bias against certain players because they don't think the player would be much fun to play with or don't play the game the right way or because certain players don't fukk with the media that heavy.

I have friends who do just that. On the podcast I referenced in the very next breath dude is talking about how Kevin Love deserves to be an all star. So in his mind having defensive lapses or not getting back at D a couple times a game is worse than just playing horrible defense overall.

Just imagine if Lowry had gone to Minny, instead of Teague's bum ass.

Lowry's Career arc has been crazy, he came into the league as Conley's backup in Memphis as a scrappy defensive specialist pg. He couldnt shoot for shyt. Now he's one of the elite shooters in the league...definitely top 5 at his position. To think that dude has 5 seasons shooting in the mid 20s from 3 to now shooting around 40% the last 3yrs is mind boogling. Don't think there's ever been a player that's improved his shooting that much in the nba.
