That ceiling is much higher than their current team's ceiling. Plus if they remained garbage they wouldve eventually struck gold on a superstar and that team is much better to surround a star player than the one they have currently considering that they are going to be in the top 5 this year.

That team/organization has been poorly assembled from top to bottom since Dwight bounced.
