That last foul they gave IT looked like a situation to call a jump ball & then at the end the refs don't want to make any call so they just say inadvertent whistle on a out of bounds & go with a jump ball then. These refs are amazing this year

Yeah, he most definitely deserves a mention too (especially since he's been dealing with a # of injuries all throughout the season). I only put Casey and Thibs ahead of him for the simple fact their respective teams have been more consistent and dominant over the first half of the season.

He's got a bunch of seemingly redundant pieces, and an imbalanced squad performing like one of the best teams in the league. Especially over this most recent stretch. They've also got the highest ORTG in their franchise's history, by a healthy margin - a common criticism of his coaching. He deserves credit for that. I don't think there's a coach out there that would have them performing any better (and yes, that's partly because he has a bond with players from his tenure in Chicago).

See this is tough for me because he is the GM so he is cooking with the ingredients he put together but besides that you have solid points.

I was watching some Kevin Love highlights out of boredom....and man what happened to this guy? He used to actually be a high flying all action power forward. He can't get a foot off the ground now.

See this is tough for me because he is the GM so he is cooking with the ingredients he put together but besides that you have solid points.

While that's true, being in Minny limits the pool of players he can choose from, since it's not the most attractive of places for a player to go to (let alone any star player), which is why there's an imbalance, cause he's pretty much got the best available players who bought the idea of what he's trying to build, and figured out the fit later.
