No love for spolestra for COY so far?
I think Spo has a good argument for COY as well.
Yeah, he most definitely deserves a mention too (especially since he's been dealing with a # of injuries all throughout the season). I only put Casey and Thibs ahead of him for the simple fact their respective teams have been more consistent and dominant over the first half of the season.As someone else said, I would put Spo up there.
He's got a bunch of seemingly redundant pieces, and an imbalanced squad performing like one of the best teams in the league. Especially over this most recent stretch. They've also got the highest ORTG in their franchise's history, by a healthy margin - a common criticism of his coaching. He deserves credit for that. I don't think there's a coach out there that would have them performing any better (and yes, that's partly because he has a bond with players from his tenure in Chicago).Why Thibs?
