Nah, their defense is 25th in the league with all that length, it falls on coaching for using the most idiotic scheme in the NBA that gives up open threes to trap the ball. They are 29th in the league in opponents three point percentage and teams take the 3rd most threes a game vs them, so you have a situation where the scheme is trash and invites teams to take more threes and because of all the airspace they're making them at a much higher rate.
Offensively they are top 10 in the league, they'd be 28-14 with even an average defense right now. This falls all on coaching and the refusal to abandon a scheme that does not work.
He still sucks. Dude couldn't outplay a washed-up, China bound Brandon Jennings in Washington, but anything is an upgrade over Ramon Sessions, I guess.

Y'all keep sleeping on the Heat like we not on a 7 game streak and the chemistry is looking more like that 30-11 team from last year.
Not a single team in the East wants to see the Heat in the playoffs. We match up well against teams like the Celtics and Raptors because we can dominate the glass with Whiteside or Bam, much less both of them.
