I don't think you've ever had management that had any ambitions beyond treadmilling.

We were owned by the spirit group. They were content with treadmilling abd cutting cost.

That changed when tony ressler bought the team. Bringing in the asst gm of the warriors. This old management wouldve resigned thjr and millsap locking us into mediocrity. The new ownership has bigger goals though hence the shake up.

I dont believe that for a minute....When yall had a 60 win team you still werent selling out Phillips...i thnk yall got it backwards.

Basketball might be more popular than football but it appears the Falcons are definitely more popular than the Hawks...and i think the point about the NBA in Atlanta was its a transplant city which is why you tend to get big crowds for good teams or teams with a large transplanted ATL population (NY) but overrall shytty home attendance thru out the season...

Even with the 60 win team we didnt have a superstar. We knew we were fodder for the Cavs. I mean we were gassing up teague like he was a star

All it takes is a superstar and we know that none will come until we get a franchise player like giannis or kristaps in the draft.

I agree that this is a transplant city but that aint the reason for low attendance. Theres just too much fun shyt to do down here to support a team with no real shot at a title. Players dont come here because this is where all their thots and side chicks live too

You put a top 5 player here tho, and they instantly become the king of the south.
