Does anyone know how he hurt his shoulder and changed his form up to begin with?
:martin:

A couple theories I heard that seem plausible.

shytty weight lifting. If you saw any of his off-season workout video's it was amazing how he did literally ever single weight lifting exercise with horrible form. Like a dude who had never lifted weights in his life. If you look up muscle imbalance it's almost synonymous with poor weightlifting exercises.

Another theory is that dude hurt his shoulder on the recoil of a dirt bike. Apparently dude is a big biker. Can't admit to it cause of the CBA your not really suppose to be doing that type of shyt in the offseason.

Last theory is that it was all mental and dude is fragile. I think that theory is kind of in the bushes. The doctor who diagnosed him would have to be making shyt up just to justify him missing time. Not sure a doctor who deals with multiple high level clientele is gonna potentially toss that shyt in the bushes to try to keep some rookie basketball player from looking like a nutcase.

To be honest, a lot of these lottery-projected dudes aren't really impressive.

:manny:

big facts im not impressed with bagley, porter(didnt see alot though), donic, that lil puerto rican looking nikka for oklahoma..all of em overrated

i do like ayton, bamba, and jaren jackson if he go to the right team

imo this year gone be a big fall off from last year draft

Damn, this shed a lot of light on this, haven't really dug into why or how he got hurt, but this explains a lot of the mystery around the situation.

I think it's #1 personally. A lot of those videos in the offseason were on our strength & conditioning coaches IG. Almost all of them got taken down when he got diagnosed. Can you imagine an organization letting their #1 pick get hurt cause they couldn't get him lift properly? The same organization that rolled out Embiid's corpse for a nationally televised game against the Rockets? That's why whole shyt has been vague at least in my opinion.

My common sense was telling me it might be theory 2 cause I couldn't imagine the kid getting hurt while lifting at an NBA facility with NBA trainers
:wtf:
