We've built enough of a sample size the last 4 seasons with & without Kevin Durant, The Warriors still can't score without Curry on the floor. Its totally fascinating to me.

In the past 8 games without Curry, the Warriors have an ORTG of 105.4 (that would be good for 16th in the league).
Warriors ORTG pre Curry's injury on December 4 is 117.6. The Warriors haven't scored > 116 since Curry's injury. 120 + was a regular occurence with him in the lineup

Per 100 possesions since 16/17
Curry and Durant +18.5
Curry without Durant +16.9
Durant without Curry +4.4
Without Curry and Durant -3.5

Curry is +11.0 without Durant, Thompson and Green since 2014.

2016/2017 Steph Curry On/Off
Curry On -Ortg 122.1
Curry Off - Ortg 107.7....

I also don't think we're seeing Curry's individual ceiling during the regular season anymore bc Kerr doesn't regularly run their most effective play. The Curry/Green PNR or Curry/Durant PNR. We're basically watching GS in maintenance mode during the RS playing a more team oriented style.
:whoo: for people tryna act like Curry aint' the #1 reason they win.

Post would make @Gil Scott-Heroin proud

Melo>>>>>>Anderson.

I just don't see how anyone can look at Anderson play and dispute this..Anderson has one job to do: shoot the open three. And he refuses to do that.

Man I miss Beverley:francis:. I know he injured but I miss that nigguh.

Anderson needs to be benched

I’d like to think that was true but I honestly don’t see it. I think his move to The Warriors will take away a lot of the respect he had. And I can’t see him getting it back on a stacked squad.

The same thing was said about Bron and after he lost to the Mavs, a lot of people and media crucified him. 6 years later nikkas leap frogged him all the way to a discussion with Jordan as the GOAT. Give KD 2 more rings, hell even a ring and FMVP this year with another outstanding performance and he’ll slowly but surely start to win the media and public back.

No he won’t. The difference is that Bron just played ball. Dubs won today and all America was doing on social media is slandering KD and the refs through KD burner account memes. Dude is viewed as a certified hoe by the general population and has done absolutely nothing to salvage that reputation, in fact he’s acting even more hoeish now and has adopted a fake tough guy persona. No matter how much he beats his chest literally no one in the real world thinks he’s even Brons equal. Even other players out here slandering him shout out Joel Embiid:pachaha:

Who’s “literally no one” when one of the biggest debates now is “KD vs Bron” as the best player in the world? Though the debate usually towards Bron. Plain and simple it has only been one season since the warriors win they’re ring. Once people get used to them like they did the Heat, there will still be hate but it will slow down. Miami was the most hated sports team in any sport for 4 straight years and everybody including even Jordan himself had a shady comment. The public were slandering Bron too after he beat the Thunder btw

This is what you want to happen, not what will happen. Lebron is Lebron. Durant aint Lebron. Everyone ain't magically gonna like Durant again, especially when you have constant reminders on national tv of just how fugazi the Warriors actually are with this nonsense.

Lebron was the most widely hated and reviled athlete in America for YEARS after the Miami move; y'all are either being purposefully disingenuous, weren't paying even the slightest bit of attention to the NBA during that time, or both. KD has never, not now, last year, or ever before that, come close to approaching that national phenomenon of visceral hate and scorn that LBJ had to deal with after The Decision. Salty casuals might cry foul over their perpetual scapegoat of "parity" (How many total rings do the Lakers and Celtics own all time??) and former OKC fans will boo and whine on twitter and yahoo comments for a few years, but when all's said and done, if KD continues to accumulate accolades and performances like he did in last year's finals he will absolutely be in the same historical conversations that people vault James into now and his sudden change of teams forgotten/excused just like Bron's was.

Deny it if you want, but don't be moving them goalposts or backtracking with those takes once it is over and both of these guys are on the verge of, if not outright retired.

Good points, however the only difference between Bron & KD is Steph. He IS Golden State...unlike Bron teams where the offense was based on him. Warriors are built on Curry & will not win without him.
