I'm a Suns fan and so far the GM has done ok with contracts.

so many teams are gonna be paying the lux.

I'm gonna refrain from specifying, but if you have 2-3 players worth a max, get ready to shell out some major money. If 3 players are worth 30% of your cap EACH, how do you plan on filling out a roster?


In 2 years trade armageddon is coming.

Tatum isn't a 4 the man weighs 205 pounds. Brown should be the 4 if Morris is out he has more mass to bang as a 4. Tatum is a 2/3 right now, maybe 10 years in his career when he's fully matured and got his weight up he'll play some 4.

Philly's had so many high picks and players they picked they felt like they had to take regardless of fit because they were the BPA. Fultz is just one of those players.

With the way the team is constructed if they want to win he has to play the way that they've played him, Simmons is a non-factor without the ball in his hands and Embiid can and will dominate the game if you give him the ball so the odd man out is naturally gonna be Fultz whose gonna need to essentially be a SG but at the 1. You might be frustrated with it now but it's much better than him having to go out there and carry the team to 30 wins on some one man army shyt like most #1 picks are forced to do.

True. But if they don't trade up they take Tatum or Jackson and those guys don't fit either with the Simmons/Saric duo.

Either way they were picking a player that was going to need to adjust to a different role than they are accustomed to

they were originally giving thought to taking Fox though

And that probably would've been an even worse fit than Fultz because he's not as good of a shooter.

The ideal player IMO for them would've been Monk but they were drafting too high up to justify that reach, and they ended up getting Redikk on a favorable deal anyway. So Fultz will be forced to adjust and the team will be better for it.
