Detroit You bytch Ass nikka
Watching his jumper improve by the end of last year was a very good sign

While his shooting form is ugly his jumper isn't broke.

He doesn't need to be a great shooter as long as he becomes adequate he'll be a star
So many potential stars in this draft it's crazy bruh, and ALL OF THEM BALLED OUT IN SL AND PRE SEASON, at least 6 nikkas will have multiple 20ppg seasons imo, this will go down as the deepest class ever if not the overall best imo

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Bell out there looking like a more athletic Draymond. Warriors defensive versatility is gonna be stupid good this season.

GMs are so fukking stupid. They keep letting the Warriors buy 2nd round picks and they just keep expanding the gap.

We had some wings on our board that we had targeted that were the only way we were going to keep that (No. 38) pick, and they went before us. And drafting Lauri (Markkanen), and the fact that we have, Niko’s a restricted free agent we intend to bring back, Bobby Portis, we didn’t want to add another big and that’s really all that was left on our board.

Then we signed Diamond Stone.

I hate them:mjcry:

Exactly especially the Bulls selling the pick like the couldn’t just take a flier out on him...I was honestly shocked he lasted until the 2nd struck me as a player the Jazz May of liked.

:dead: he hit that deap ass step back. can this guy finally do what he posed to do on a consistent basis...

he makes 3 pointers during warm up with no problem :manny:, maybe Stan has given him the green light to shoot a couple J's per game. He has some range.

Y'all talking this 1 for 7 stuff but...

Embiid beasted on Whiteside last season where we won the game as well.

Whiteside scored 32 but most of that was on Okafor :manny:

Whiteside did great on Embiid in isolation, blocked his shots too, and being able to play solid minutes matters.

Embiid wasn't exactly having his way with Whiteside. Whiteside barely missed a shot and imposed his will under the glass too.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Whiteside might not be the best in any particular aspect but he's pretty much among the most well-rounded centers in the league.

His surprisingly soft touch, finishing ability, length, and sheer strength make him better offensively than guys like Gobert or Drummond to the point where he can go head to head with any center in the game in isolation.

He's on an entirely different planet on defense compared to KAT, Boogie, and Jokic. Whiteside is a legitimate elite overall defensive presence when mixing in his defensive rebounding, elite shot blocking instincts, length, and athleticism.

He's an elite rebounder too.

And yeah, he's 28 but Whiteside is NBA young and he's constantly improving his overall game plus he doesn't have a lot of NBA wear and tear. Just this preseason, Whiteside been showing off consistent effortless mid-game jumper that's been punishing any big with his hands down and anyone who saw him last season will tell you his mental growth was huge.

We saw Whiteside matching Embiid, blow for blow, for multiple seasons and Embiid is probably the most talented center in the game.

Whiteside don't get the respect he deserve for how impactful he can be.

He's a good center, and while 28 is young you have to remember he's being compared to guys 5-7 years younger than himself, with most of them being the new wave of Cs that can post & shoot the 3 as well.
