My man Rondae Hollis-jefferson deserves some love for MIP. He's getting minutes but now he's a more than competent scorer, defends and can rebound.

I'm a closet Nets fan. RHJ, DLo, Levert and if Okafor is freed is an interesting group of young talent

But the Nets coach has the corpse of Mozgov playing Okafor is going to be on suicide watch. Imagine being drafted as the number 3 pick, be the star big man for your team, only to be displaced by a better generational talent, sentenced to bench limbo for years, don't play much at all this year, get traded to another team expecting better opportunity, only to be sentenced to bench limbo yet again.

I think he will play 20+ MPG eventually but it's going to be a struggle to get there. He's not a good defensive player so it's usually harder to impress a coach enough to "earn" minutes when that's the case.

At the very least he should be a regular bench player, but they obviously value Allen over him, and Mozgov makes the most money on the team IIRC so I'm sure they feel like they want to get some kind of value out of him

Is Zeller a good defender? I don't think so yet he is ahead of Okafor. Someone like Kanter who is shyt on defense plays minutes for his team (though he has improved a good amount this year to be fair) and if he can get minutes so can Okafor. This lack of defense thing is bullshyt. Something else is going on here. Reputation created by the Sixers? I don't know.

He's good, he can start for a lot of teams, but you really want him off the bench. I can see him being a really good 7th/8th man for a really good team, like Shaun Livingston.
