Until he plays I don't know but I really think that Ben Simmons can be a special player in the Point Forward role. Im not expecting him to ever be a 20 pt a night scorer but I see one of those stat sheet stuffers who puts up 15-18pt 8-10rb 5-7ast and shoots over 50% from the field when it's all said and done.

thats what I like about him....Sometimes that sheer "want to be good" helps elevate these dudes. That dog is what some of these dudes need. Quite a few NBA players would be stars if they had that dog in them.

You bring Lavine off the bench and you have another Harden situation. You'd be better of learning how to stagger the minutes better, taking a page out of Steve Kerr's book. Wiggins' biggest issue at the 3 spot, is the lack of mass. He's got wiry strength. I'd say another 12-15 pounds over the next two years in his upper body, will make him a real problem. Then again, Thibs has 3 offensive young studs and no concept of how to get them in unison other than iso-ing. If he can figure out how to get them to play off the ball in some capacity, they could be a nightmare.

I believe Thibs is overrated as a coach, so I will need to see it to believe it.
