I've always hated that logic. A post up by itself may be a low percentage play. But if you have a great post up player it forces defenses to collapse on the post up or have players cheating to provide help before they catch the ball which then opens up the higher percentage shots. You act like these great post players grow on trees. Look at Embiid, He doesn't just live in the post. He's spreading the floor and taking 3's too. The NBA has forced bigs to diversify their game. How stupid would The Rockets be to force post ups to fukking NeNe or Clint Capela?
