Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Oak is an old school big and he's regressed a bit this season so far. The values of both Noel and Oak seem very low right now.

Hinkie didn't die for this :wow:

Nah, they're being real petty with Nerlens, he's producing when he steps on the court and his rim protection is at 45.5% which is in line with what he's done for his career, they are just being stupid with him. Okafor has the higher value since he's still on the rookie contract, but I'd be more inclined to keep Nerlens even if it meant a large contract. If you're going to play two bigs like that, let them both be elite defenders since Embiid already has the offense covered.

Then you have to include the likes of Holmes, Simmons, Saric getting minutes as well. I wonder what can they get for Oak? :jbhmm:

Imo I don't think they should keep either of them. Saric has a certain fire I like plus he's the team's best rebounder(kinda wish we didn't trade for Illyasova. Saric would of developed faster). I want him to be the starting stretch 4 out there with Simmons at the 3. Embiid and Covington at the 2/5 can carry the defense next year without Nerlens. Holmes needs to be the only other traditional big on the roster imo.

Pg.Lotto
SG.Covington
SF.Simmons
PF.Saric
C.Embiid

With Lakers pick/Holmes/Bayless coming off the bench. Get some actual useful vets to round it out and I think we can make the playoffs

Holmes would be the backup C, so Simmons and Saric would split time at the 3-4 based on matchups.

I'm sure they could get a nice deal for Okafor, he's just not a fit for them.

I'd keep Nerlens, big men like him are highly valued around the league for a reason, your defense would never see a drop off if you staggered the lineups or even used him as a backup.

Also, Covington cannot play the 2, and realistically I don't think he's a starter on a winning team, offensively he's been pretty bad this year.

Personally I think

it should go at the 4

Simmons
Saric

at the 5
and Embiid
Holmes (small ball big)
plus an avg backup big to soak up some minutes

Shumpert is one of the most frustrating players in the league I swear..

Had a couple nice drives last night which resulted in a dunk and a nice up-and-under layup and he's always good for a crazy putback now and then, but it's like he does shyt like that only so often just to show people he has the ability. I don't remember who but some GM a couple years ago said that if Shump had ONE go-to move and was more aggressive at the basket, he'd be a 15M/year player under the old cap :stopitslime: don't know if it's an issue with confidence or what, but he seems more capable than he lets on
