put the ball in rubio/lavine or KAT's hands, not wiggins in the 4th so damn often. and why is lavine out there if they aren't going to run any plays for him? he has like only 10 shot attempts and has hit a good % yet wiggins keeps getting forcefed. after a game in which he had 40 and has hit mosy of his 3 attempts in this game? makes zero sense.

The thing that bothers me about the excuse about Wiggins playing out of position, is generally the best wing defender on the team guards the best perimeter offensive player regardless of position. So this whole notion that he's a matchup nightmare at the two but disappears at the 3 is confusing as fukk. The best defender on the team is on him regardless so who gives a shyt?

I feel like me and you are going through the same exact stan cycle :to:

All my hope and excitement for him is quickly turning to distain and disgust:mjcry:

I lowkey hate his guts

Breh it irks me to watch him play. I was just telling my homie I wished a player with heart got his athleticism.

Dude is gonna be the new era Rudy. Dude plays with no fire. Dude was hyped for his potential defensively he won't even get into a stance defensively to guard and this is when he plays for Thibs.

Wiggins never hustles and for an elite athlete it looks like it pains him to run. I was off on him. He'll score but he doesn't give you anything else.

honestly, i think his athleticism is overrated. he is agile, yet still manages to come off as mechanical. He has good vertical leap, but doesn't really appear that explosive that much when he plays. he seems to have a decent first step, but he's not fast/i don't think i've ever seen him actually sprint. shyt is infuriating.

people have been calling him a 2 when he clearly is not, and shyt is starting to annoy me with the pleas that people are copping for him "playing out of position". Dude is 6'9 with average handles/weak hands and an unreliable jumper. he is not a 2 no matter how much people claim it. Oh, and lavine is the wolves' best offensive perimeter player; wiggins' advantage is that he has a post-up game, but lavine is better offensively all across the board otherwise.

It's more effort than position with him. It's shocking that his dad played in the league. Terrible fundamental player. Horrible iq. 0 motor. No feel for the game. These are things legacy players usually excel at.

I don't even want to disrespect Rudy like that. Rudy played with more effort than Wiggins.

A player with his athleticism and russel Westbrooks mentality would be the best player in the game.

He plays the game like someone who picked it up on a whim a year ago

and thibs should've kept dunn in who was actually doing a decent job defensively on westbrook. they got back in the game with him in there. westbrook destroyed rubio, lavine, wiggins whenever they were on him, but dunn didd a decent job.

@42 Monks summed it up perfectly. He plays basketball with the enthusiasm of a wal-mart cashier. He'll get on a hot streak again but I don't see superstar. But to be fair he's only 21 but I just see no fire.

Dude knew he was gonna have to play against the Kawhi's, Jimmy butler and Bron at the 3 and didn't put on any weight in the offseason. That looks like a guy who doesn't put the work in.
