Blazers are the exact reason I'm against teams spending money just to spend it. You end up with a bunch of assets no one wants, no flexibility for moves in future years. Save that money and at the very least use the extra cap space to be able to be a third team in a trade and acquire assets to make trades work or something over paying damn near minimum level players big contracts.

The Blazer put their money on "fools gold". You don't spend money just because you have it. Their main issue is they need a good defender at the 1-2 spots. They did pick up Ezeli on a modest contract to defend the center position, but he was always injury-prone and he might have season-ending surjury on his knee. Matching that Alan Crabbe contract was stupid, They should have let him walk. Evan Turner is ok, but he is overpaid, and Stotts is not using him because he doesn't want to piss McCollum off.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Drummond no longer has superstar potential to you?

:leon:

You really abandon your basketball kids?

:ohhh:

Drummond has the potential, he just doesn't seem to work :francis: Where as Giannis puts in work and it's pretty obvious too.

Also, you should know Embiid is here now, my heart only has room for 1 center, Drummond knew what this was.

In terms of the Cavs-Bucks it's better to run to it than run from it.

Get that familiarity in that type of setting now and seed the doubt early.

They are clearly going to develop but as you know it's more than basketball.

He's resumed some basketball activities, he might be able to play this season. They're in a tough spot now, one of the highest team salaries in the league cause they keep signing centers that don't fit their team.

Middleton getting hurt has made Parker & Giannis better though, just that potentially missing the season is :scust: You gotta wonder if he can comeback the same too, since he apparently tore his hamstring off the bone.

That didn't go well for Ken Griffey Jr:francis:

Bron at 35 going against a 25 year old Giannis who remembers what happened back in 2017? :wow:

The Greek is pretty dirty too, you don't want him out here cross checking Dunleavy again like he did in that Bulls series.

:francis: I don't see how a basketball player can comeback from that.

And the Greek would get that work in the parking lot if that ever happened.

That Turner contract was ridiculous. Turner can be OK but he needs the ball in his hand to maximize his effectiveness and with two other guys in Lillard and McCollum both needing the ball in their hands I thought it was a bad idea. Especially if the story is true about Turner not even believing someone offered him that much money. I wasn't mad about the Ezeli contract. It was low enough to make it worth the risk. The Crabbe one was horrible.
