Mahinmi probably would've been a better fit for this team than aldrich although his deal was a bit too much. Seth curry would've been nice as well for the backup 2.

Ian was good last year but not worth that price tag and Seth Curry has been an all around disappointment this year.

I know you guys are low on patience, but no Thibs has not been awful aside from passing up on Murray. If you want to send out some ridiculous contracts to a bunch of players that weren't worth it like a lot of teams did this past off-season then that's on you, but calling a guy awful based on one off-season is overreacting. That team is still incredibly young and still learning his system. It's going to take time and has they have underperformed, but it should and likely will get better.

At some point youth isn't an excuse. Lakers aren't using it as an excuse.

they don't hear u though.

Utah's the real team that needs to be given praise. They're doing it right, Spurs-lite.

Who doesn't hear him? Lots of people have been saying this for years, they just needed that point guard and lots of us thought it would be Exum but Hill is proving he's more than capable.

It'll be disappointing if they don't finish with a 4th/5th seed with their defense+balanced scoring and quality bench.

Do you guys even have an active rotation player that's over 30? Lakers got Deng/Lou Williams/Nick Young/Mozgov and everyone but Deng has played really well for them this year.

They had that last year. KG impact is missed heavily.

EXACTLY breh. They wanted Sam out and got that. They're not exactly playing with fire for Thibs.
And to extend on from @KOBE's gif, the team has adopted the identity of Swaggy P and Lou Will (two vets). As you know, Minny is sorely missing that - half the reason why they fade in and out of games. Kind of strange to say in 2016/2017 that a team is winning because of the combination of Nick Young and Lou Will.

NBA's a Twilight Zone.

I think once it clicks for them it'll look way better. But for now it's a struggle. They just gotta adjust. It would be nice for them to get some bench production as well. But they'll be fine.

naw they need a vet presence. Look at the lakers squad when it gets tough lou will is there to calm things down and score/set people up. Right now minny doesnt have that guy. You also see Deg/MWP/Mozgov talking to the young guys showing telling them what they should have done or show them something they missed.
