Yeah not buying Lavine needing to go to the bench. shyt is reactionary as fukk. If he had 20 point and they lost would anyone be saying that? He's had games of 36 and 29 this season with Lavine in the lineup...he actually had more attempts during hi 36 point game than yesterdays 47 point performance so yeah not buying that at all. Watching the game he was getting to the same spots he's been getting to the whole season.

The team needs better balance. I was hoping the Wolves got a legit 3 and D guy this summer so Lavine could come off the bench and be the offense the 2nd unit would need. He'd be out there in crunch time too but we been using the same lineup since after the all-star break last season and we've been having the same issues. Lavine has been their most consistent player this year, but Wiggins is better as a 2 guard and if Lavine is out there, he has to play the 2

He shouldn't have said anyone could do it though. Its not like D'Angelo has shown any ability to get to the basket like that.

I agree he definitely could've worded it better. It just looks bad the way the reporter framed it.

He's a better 2 than he is a 3 which is why people are saying Lavine would be better to bring off the bench.

At this point it's pretty much undeniable that Zaza hasn't been the answer for them at the 5 spot either. So much so that he only played 12 mins. I guess they'll wait on Damian Jones but they definitely will need to address the center position before it gets too late in the season. Jalen said it's a possibility that Tyson Chandler will find his way in GS on his podcast so we'll see what happens.
Zaza is ass, b.
He's allowing 67% at the rim, might as well have dame dolla as your rim protector.

They should just play Durant at center, dude is 6'11 with length but Kerr don't give a fukk about the regular season. I'm sure it'll be all death line up in playoffs

Edit:
I don't know about Tyson but Damian Jones as a rookie Isnt gonna help much. He was the 30th pick for a reason, and it's not just the injury

EVERYONE, literally, wants/needs a 3&D guy and there aren't too many of them out there. There a few with D and no 3 like Thabo or something. Or 3 and no D, the wolves got one of them, Brandon Rush. Or kind of 3 and kind of D, like Tony Snell.

But a real 3 and D guy who'd be good enough to start ahead of LaVine is impossible to acquire.

Since coming into the league Wiggins has been considerably better playing the 2, he's a matchup nightmare at that position and the Wolves have one of the worst benches in the league. Bringing LaVine off the bench would give them better balance, and it would allow Wiggins to excel at the position he's had the most success. When he's at the 3 he doesn't have the strength to take advantage of his post game, when he's at the 2 he's entirely too big and too strong for most SGs to check.

The fact that KD had 29, Steph had 30, Klay had 30, Day had 14 and the Warriors only beat the SUNS by 13 points is disturbing.
It was a lot closer than that. Suns controlled the entire 4th until the last few minutes.
