?? By saying that you imply there is improvement on the horizon. Rubio is putting up Rubio numbers while still being the same non-factor injury prone guard.

I don't think people realize that NBA defense isn't something almost anyone is good at right away. At least in the modern game because of complex Xs and Os.
Joel Embiid and Myles Turner are monsters and they make some crazy defensive plays because of their physical tools but they are still both pretty bad defensive players just because it's so fukking hard to play defense from the center position in the NBA. You have to be at the perfect place at the perfect time or the opponent is gonna take advantage of it instantly because everyone is so good and so quick. Other positions you can get away with chilling off ball and guarding the weakest guy on the other team. But at big man position they'll just put you into PnR every time and you're fukked.
So ya Okafor and guys like that have issues defensively but all the young bigs take time to get better and it just doesn't happen over night even for guys like Towns, Turner and Embiid. Thats why the wolves have been disappointing and the Sixers and Pacers are struggling.

I gotta check their roster. They're not a guaranteed win for an opposing team like we thought they would be. They're putting up a lot of points per game seems likehow u get smacked by the nets
