We byke
I wish no harm on no man
But I sure wish to see the look on Durant's face when
a) the Thunder eliminate the Warriors in a 4-2 WCF upset with Westbrook averaging 35-10
b) the Cavs abuse the Warriors' weaknesses (interior/inability to get key rebounds/arrogance after a great regular season) and LeBron's focus, Kyrie's talent and the Cavs' ability to bounce back let's them win the title back-to-back. Start of a legacy, end of a hypetrain.
As for my Lakers, I just want to see progress. I have high hopes with the new coaching staff in place - no specific player (except DR if he keeps his mind right) exploding, we are in rebuild mode. Ever since Kobe tweaked his ankle when the Lakers were making that unlikely comeback to go the Playoffs, we ain't been the same. The front office remains awful.
For the Knicks (and Melo specifically): I see nothing but disappointment lined up. I'll actually try to catch a Cavs - Knicks game because LeBron (legendary players) tend to go off in the Garden. Rose is great, but comes across as just a step too slow. Noah is just there, that's about it. Porzingis is talented but I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being his last season as a Knick.. and Carmelo: you have to respect his offensive prowess - but Knicks fans need to come to grips with the fact that he is no NBA Champion type leader or player. Melo plays for Melo. Drafted in the same year as LeBron with a lot of hype as well - Melo shows year in year out that he is a great shooter. When he plays for the Olympic Team and he does not get double teamed early, he can go off. When he is feeling himself on a good night he can do that in the NBA. But he can not and will likely never be able to lead a team to 4 wins against a team that plays serious defense and/or and can really score. Classic example of someone thrown into the leader role because he can score but who just is not a leader. Looks bad for the Knicks.
Hyped af for the tipoff of the new season. Also hoping to see as much of Craig Sager as possible on the sidelines.
I got Cavs-Thunder as the NBA Finals, Cavs win 4-2.
Let's do this! We byke, if this season's anything like the last one..
Good look OP for starting this thread.
