Not getting my hopes up. I just want a real center that can rim protect on this roster.
It's comical that they even have the first seed without one.
I'm not sure to be honest, need to see what happens with him and Simmons because his best position is Power Forward and Simmons will most likely end up playing the 4 in the future.

He's not the problem. Playing Frye at the 5 every night is.
He's a seven foot James Jones. He really should get the bulk of his minutes at the back up 4.
If I'm not mistaken Williams/Bogut are not actively trying to get bought out. Mavs can still make a playoff run.
Bogut is out until after the ASB, it wouldn't shock me if he pushes for a buyout around then.
@ how trash the bottom of the West is that the Mavs are still in the playoff hunt. I think the Nuggets have that secured though.

I think Griffin's dream is that Mario Chalmers gets in better shape and that Bogut gets bought out.

I upped these posts in the FA thread, but I just wanna expand on it briefly here -
17 points, 17 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks against the Pistons - outperforming and outrebounding both Drummond and Leur. He's averaging 10 ppg, 10 rpg this month while starting + co-anchoring one of the best defenses in the league (even when he wasn't starting, he was still an integral part of the team's defense).
This is why the Spurs have been the most successful franchise over the last 20 years: they've basically been the only team who know how to scout properly + understand player value. And why other teams spend $70m on Noah.
