Yeah Blake is starting to look good again. Still want Melo on the team. That was the first time DJ played great in a good minute. Don't know if it was a mirage or not. Wish we had a young up and coming PG in the mix.Blake Griffin has moments where he looks like a top 5 player. Why cant he be more consistent

That's my whole reasoning behind saying he'son paying Lowry a max in his 30s. He would've swung at Millsap if he felt he had enough to get to the Finals.
I'm not getting my hopes hope for a real active deadline but I hope GMs get off the scared shyt and try to go all in.
Hes come out many times and said he wouldnt overpay for a rental....The Millsap thing was never going to happen.

Ive said since last year they werent good enough to get by Cleveland...This team has never played well as a favourite going back to 2007.They have lost 4 straight game 1s at home and previous to last year lost back to back years as a HC fav,i just stated facts....
That tells me he doesn't believe in his team.
He wasnt wrong to think that,problem is he allowed this core to roll over 3 years and whiffed on additions and subtractions along the way.
At the very least i think this will be the last year he spins the organic growth narrative...

To be real whats he going to do that makes them a contender this year ? He knows this team isnt good enough,is it worth continuing to fukk over ur cap for a move that doesnt put you on par with the Cavs ? This is what i argue in the raptor thread now.
His best move is fire Casey and break it up in the off season,this seasons damage is done already...This defense is so bad one or two players isnt going to fix it in 2 months...You need new coaches and break up the core to change the bad habits that have set in...Coach wont even play his best perimeter defender
Honestly, if Atlanta could get Melo to go with Sap, Dennis, Howard and Tim would be a good look
