Who's gonna push them? :ld:

The Celtics are not built for the playoffs, Toronto got worked last season and look like a worse team this season, we already know how it goes with Atlanta, Indiana lacks the firepower, the Bulls have all types of issues

Washington is possibly the only team I could see
Believe me, LeBron leading the league in minutes will have an effect come postseason (he's averaging TWO minutes more than last year). And even if we were to ignore those long term postseason effects of his min averages; it doesn't bode well when this squad can't beat lottery teams on a regular basis with him playing nearly 40 mins a night. He was suppose to take a back seat this season and then ramp up his minutes near the back quarter - that hasn't happened - in fact it's been quite the opposite.

There's a # of teams in the East that can push them (even if not one team, but a three-team collective effort), certainly more than the Finals cakewalk they've essentially had for the last two years. If the Cavs keep continuing along this path with no squad alterations or notable improvements, they'll be gassed out before they even get to the Finals.

I think I'll just have to believe it when I see it. And it's not that I think your theory on progessive fatigue is far-fetched, I just lack faith in the rest of the East to actually step up.

The Hawks are not the same, TT can't bully Dwight. The Hawks won this year and Dwight grabbed 17 boards to Thompson's 2 :deadmanny:
The Cavs are in a bad spot. The Celtics are a good rim protector away IMO, Raptors would need a guy like Ibaka if they wanted to compete, the rest I can't see making any noise.
