Still can't believe a contender or playoff-ready squad didn't pick him up when they had the chance to (shooting 53% from behind the arc this month and 49% last month, while being able to create his own shot).
Did you watch basketball prior to 2010? You don't want to bring up the minutes players used to play before Pop ushered in the "rest" craze.![]()
I don't understand why even a team like the Sixers didn't pick him up or even why the Kings would only give him a 2 year deal with a player option after the first year. What is the point of taking a flyer on a player & then giving them an opt out after one year? He basically played himself into a good situation last spring and some teams still weren't buying it.
You funny style and pretend LeBron superteams invented rest. Clean that shyt up before you think you can talk NBA prior to 2010.... Your Laker ignorance ignores 2002![]()
I don't let #s run me, I just use my brain - unlike you. I don't think you quite understand why I referenced those stats to begin with. You let numbers run you@Gil Scott-Heroin....

Who on the 76ers is averaging 40 minutes a game?
![]()
The reason why distance travelled on offense and defense is relevant here is that despite the 76ers not having a great amount of talent, they're managing to win games because of how active they are on offense (#1 in passes made and #1 in distance travelled, which shows how well they move the ball and how well they move without the ball - which you need when you don't have any elite shot creators - McConnell and Rodrigues certainly aren't great playmakers) and defense (#7 in distance travelled, which shows active they are when defending). If they were ranked near the bottom in distance travelled per game on both ends of the floor, they wouldn't have the record they do right now simply because they don't have the talent.
That's why Brett Brown deserves to be in the conversation for Coach of the Year; simply because he's got this team performing on a level much higher than their talent level.
