I mean honestly it's not a huge problem if Sullinger is at least a 6/10 player and Patterson can play 25+ mpg doing what he does... but now we've been playing Bebe at the 4 when he should be at all times the 5 backing up JV...
I can't even really think of a team that's made any noise over the last 10 or so years without a dynamic 4. Not saying there's a pattern but still... there is that.
Going back further than that, the only team I can remember since Jordan off the top of my head without a great 4 was the 06 Heat that won a title.

A center that can guard the rim at an elite level, run offense through and then play in the 4th cause he can hit freethrows is just not fair.
