Only dude I can think of is maybe Monta Ellis? They need a PG more then anything. Rondo available:mjgrin:

McConnel and Sergio r doing a decent job IMO.. and they still got Bayless.. Ellis might b a decent haul.. but I think they want a 3d SG.. can they get baze.. even Ross would b good.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Philly needs an SG.. whose the best they can get for that okafor and illy package?

They get the Lakers pick if it falls outside the top 3, they will probably draft a 1 & 2 this summer.

Fultz + Monk

Ball + Monk

Fultz + Jackson

If they can't get the combination of those, I think they trade the Lakers pick for an SG. There's really no rush for them right now, they have Korkmaz stashed, and Luwawu could develop into a 3 & D SG.

I thought they were talking all that about Simmons being the 1.

There's just no way they have him out there trying to guard PGs full time, he'll be a PG on offense in that he handles the ball but you still need guys around that size to check actual PGs.

Magic, Bron, Giannis, Pippen, Hill and Harden....none of these dudes guarded PGs full time.

But what is the point of drafting a talented offensive player that specializes in passing like Lonzo or ball dominate like Fultz and Smith and using him to defend opposing PG's like Beverly or Brogdon. These are franchise stars not secondary ball handlers it wouldn't make any sense.

Same way it benefits the Cavs to have two ball dominant players while one is the scorer, and the other is the playmaker/scorer. In the playoffs you want + ball handlers & scorer/shooters at multiple positions, the one creator will come back to kill the Rockets in the playoffs, and the Bucks have 4 creators when Middleton is healthy. I don't think Simmons will be a high volume scorer, so getting a wing player that can get buckets would be important for the long term.

Fultz or Smith would be better for the Sixers than Ball since both look like they will be able to attack and score at a high rate.

That's limiting one player though. Kyrie is a scorer not a scorer/assist like say west brook or Harden. It wouldn't make any sense to split responsibilities when unnecessary. You could just have a motion offense like the spurs if you want multiple creators and it's far more effective.

It's not really hindsight though, he said Giannis reminded him of Pippen and drafted someone else, that is just absurd.

I hear player Y reminds me of player X all the time only for player Y to turn out nothing like player X and good portion of the time player Y doesn't amount to much at all.

The Spurs used to have two top creators and a post player, it doesn't limit anyone to have multiple ball handlers, especially when someone like Fultz is shooting 42% from three. What limits Westbrook from playing off the ball more is the fact he can't shoot the three, Manu worked with Parker because he could hit the three, but he also created with the ball in his hands too. If the Rockets could have a secondary elite ball handler next to Harden they would, it's not a matter of them not wanting it, it's that there's only so many of those to go around.

I think the Rockets prefer to have the ball in Harden's hands at all times that's why they moved him to PG.

Ball and Simmons is redundant and I don't trust his jumper. Fultz and Smith are ball dominant. How do we spread the ball around between Simmons, a ball dominant guard, and Embiid who needs low and high post touches and P&R/P&P's ran.

Man, I can't wait. These nikkas are becoming must see TV and Embid is literally COMPLETELY CONTROLLING THE GAME IN ONLY 28 MINUTES :whew:. What if these nikkas fukk around and have a dawg ass run to hallenge for a playoff spot. shyt would sky rocket that franchise and be a top sports story for Embid and Ben.

Nah not this season maybe next

Ball and Simmons are the best fit because they don't require the ball and look to mak the easy pass/play...That unselfishness goes a long way Ball has potential to be special...(now Fultz if available is the best pick)

The 76ers can't go wrong with either 2 of (Fultz, Ball, Smith JR, Monk, Tatum, Jackson)...

Surround Embiid and Simmons with unselfish shooters and 2 way players and find a player whose a slasher and the 76ers are off to the races....and can package those future assets for an established player.

They have the ball in his hands because the alternative is Beverly, and he's PG on offense, defensively Beverly guards the PG. When D'Antoni had Nash and JJ, he allowed Johnson to play on the ball at times and create. There's nothing about Mike's system that requires the ball to be in 1 player's hands only.

As for how you spread it around, same way teams like the Cavs, Warriors, Bucks etc spread the ball around. It's not that difficult especially when I really don't see Simmons being a dominant scorer, the Lakers used to share the ball between Kobe, Pau, Odom and Bynum. With Bret Brown being from the Popovich line and having coached with the Spurs during Manu/Parker/Duncan's primes I'm sure they'd be able to figure out how to get two ball dominant players and a big to work together.

I like Fultz or Smith more for them than Ball, but Ball has some positives if he's paired with Monk in that he'd be running the offense from the 2.
