LaVine off the bench has been said many times, also I would think if they miss the playoffs looking at one of the SFs (mainly Anunoby) should be the way to go.

On RealGM they have a story saying KCP has surpassed Jackson as a core piece in management's mind. Jackson's game is just killing them, they are 7-13 with him and 11-10 without him. Dude has been complete garbage this season and dribbles the air out the ball just destroying movement.

Yea dude is terrible. High Usage rate, cant defend or shoot, doesn't get to the FT line. Probably can't move him either considering his contract and most teams have good PGs outside one or two. Man SVG made a mess of this team. 4th highest payroll and not scoring at all

so thibs decides to finally let his PG run the offense/set guys up rather than planting his non-shooting ass in the corner, ball movement looks better, and the wolves win 3 in a row? what a surprise. please let this be the end of the wiggins point-forward experiment.

Wiggins found Rubio and Dieng open multiple times only for them to fail at converting. He had one assist because his teammates can't finish a fukking open jumper.

Westbrook getting reckless and having an absolute awful second half sealed the deal too. Oh and your boy Lavine not playing has been a positive factor too. :mjpls:

fair enough on wiggins passes. if he's passing to zach or to rush then his assists will jump up. the team success with rush lately is more indicative that rush should be the first guy off the bench when thibs subs zach out, rather than bazz as he's been doing all season. andrew plays best when he has a shooter on the wing to open up his driving lanes. However, he still is not suited to be someone initiating the offense. the clearest difference the last few games is that an actual PG is being allowed to run the offense and find the right shooters. passing like that becomes contagious. and the team's overall improvement in D and these last few wins has nothing to do with lavine being out. They were the 5th best defensive team in the month of december with zach starting. they're learning how to not just stay close, but to close games. think about how many close games they've lost that came down to a few possessions here and there. Their consistency/record since starting lke 6-18 is much better and that's with zach playing 90+% of those games. that being said, i hope he's learning from watching rush on defense. lavine's value to the team as defense improves > rush. He can hit the same open 3s that rush is hitting while being much more dangerous off the bounce and in transition (why this team doesn't run more with these athletes is a whole nother story). if his defense can continue to catch up is the question.
