Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I highly doubt they'd be a playoff team right this season. We still don't know how Simmons will fit in just yet. They still have guys like Luwawu finding their way and even Korkmaz on the way. There's still room to grow. You're worried about their record yet they're still near the bottom, so it wasn't gonna all click in 1 year and it's not going to, especially if your main source of improvement rests on 19 year old kids. If Joel Embiid prevents you from getting high draft picks, that's a good thing, especially since him being hurt gave you 2 years of drafting in the top 3 after that. If your franchise guy can't keep you out of drafting in the top 3, he might not be a franchise guy.

I never said I didn't like Monk. I did say if he can't do something other than score it would make me very hesitant to draft him super high, but if he falls into the latter half of the top 10, that could work for a team like Philly and I coulda swore I said that then as well.

I disagree, average guards + no minutes restriction means they'd win some of those games where Embiid couldn't go over 25mpg, they have essentially been playing teams even when he's on the court. I think they are much closer than people think, drafting a stud PG and signing some vets this offseason will get them into the playoffs. There's plenty of room to grow, it's just that Embiid's impact on the game is huge right now, defensively he's in the Gobert class and we've seen how much winning Rudy has been responsible for with the Jazz, now imagine if Rudy were capable of scoring 30. An offseason with NBA strength and conditioning rather than rehab, and he's going to be an absolute monster next year and their days of drafting high are done as long as he's healthy.

The thing with Monk is he's a good fit for Simmons game, which was my point and I don't remember you saying it but if you did my bad breh.

So after that epic meltdown against Memphis the warriors come out and they bout to let Sacramento drop 120 on em. These nikkas will be lucky to make it out the West this year. They have regressed in just about every category, defense, bench late game situations etc.
