Embiid is the real fukking deal live.
The Sixers may have to cut Joel's playing time when Simmons comes back, he's good enough to fukk up their tank position by himself.
Man fukk this line of thinking altogether. They're playing better. They're winning some more games. Ben Simmons hasn't played a game yet. Let them grow. This is how they'll learn to be a good team in the long run. They can only be a good team as long as losing isn't considered to be an option. They have their core mostly. The assets are still there. At some point they gotta draft well later anyway, but take all the wins they can get.

I meant the tank for this year :hubie:

Embiid is so good that he could hurt their position this season, they need one of those PGs, and they also need to make sure the Lakers don't end up with a bottom 3 record.

Yeah these wins are on the backs of our core young players. If it takes out of top lottery position so be it :yeshrug: It's worth it to get our players used to a winning culture

They don't need Fultz, Sixers can still be a title contender with Monk and Issac. At the end of the day, the success of the franchise is on the health of Biid. If they wind up with the 5th and 8th picks, Sixers could package those picks for Butler or McCollum.

I agree. I'll be honest I want them to win every game they can :yeshrug:. I'm a big Fultz guy and some of the other top prospects are real intriguing but it's a lottery(somewhat random) and there is no substitute for expelling the losing culture which is what will happen if this team continues to gel and play well together. We can still get a top pick if we win 25-30 games in addition we'd have seen major progress towards building a winning program. I'll take that over a guaranteed top 3 pick for this team since the two cornerstones are already on the team.

Right now, only 2 games separate you from getting the 1-3, or ending up with the 6th pick. It's not worth it :hubie:

The winning will be there, Embiid's impact on the game is massive and he is the culture change.

They could wind up with one of those guards with LA's pick. Otherwise you'll never stop thinking your team is set. That's what serial rebuilding is. If you're more in love with the process of rebuilding than actually rebuilding, that's a problem. More importantly it doesn't work. Once your franchise player is there, start competing and winning.

The LA pick is top 3 protected, I personally think they need Smith or Fultz, and both guys will probably be gone at 3. I don't like Ball that much for them, and while I like Monk he's not as dynamic as those other 2. Getting one of those 2 guys gives them the freedom to get more ambitious with the Lakers pick.

They will win next year, after Embiid has an offseason to work on his body and his game, rushing it this year when one of those franchise pieces is injured and the other doesn't play back to backs is pointless.
