Barnes isn't guarding 4s for long stretches and Festus is the only insurance for that inevitable Bogut injury.
Yet he can still defend them. I mean it's not like Ezeli can guards wings/guards. He's pivotal to their closing lineup and taking advantage of teams when going small. He can play in any sort of lineup and has an advantage matchup every night. He's their 4th most important player.
If its between those 2, I'm keeping the big who can defend and finish in the paint.
It's easier to replace Ezeli than Barnes. There aren't too many players in the league with Barnes' skillset/ability (especially to replace all the things he does on offense and defense), whereas defensive bigs with limited touch are everywhere.

They still lucky?
I hate to point it out but yes :manny: To been as healthy and fortunate as they have been going back to last season is remarkable

They're also a great team but it takes some luck for anyone to be perfect at this point of the season :ehh:

Yes, he "can" but its pretty much irrelevant, he can't guard any offensively adept 4 for any significant period of time. He's not Draymond.

I really don't get why ya'll overrate him so much. While he has a good skillset the majority of his value on offense comes from the fact teams have to pay so much attention to Klay, Step and even Draymond. All he's really asked to do on offense is move the ball and hit corner threes. Iggy is better than him in every facet of the game except for maybe, shooting. Granted he's younger, but the window to win is now. With Bogut's shaky health a big like Ezeli is more important. You can't play 48 minutes of small ball.
