You really gonna prop up Ben McLemore in defense of Dough Boy? Ben McLemore? :bryan: :mjlol:

Now you're just playing dumb or just dumb.

Point was rookies struggle adjusting to the game and the nba 3 pt line. Even the supposed best shooter since Ray Allen struggled. Your knock on DLo is that he's missing shots like that's a big surprise. Rookies miss shots, that's what they do. They adjust or they don't adjust to the game and that's that. but criticizing a rookie for missing shots is just dumb analysis.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Ben McLemore, best shooter since Ray Allen according to scouts...

shot 32% from 3 his rookie year

shot 35% from 3 his sophmore year

40% from this season

but according to
@Regular_P rookies aren't supposed to struggle when they come into the nba especially when it's shooting but let me guess, he was shooting contested 3s right? :ld:

Do you think he's a PG?

The whole reason yall didn't take Okafor is cause you had Randle, but you may have to move Clarkson cause neither looks like PGs.

Nah we didn't take Okafor for several reasons:

1) His work outs sucked

2) They thought they could get a big in FA(stupid, I know)

3) They were probably swayed by the guard movement going on in the league.

Russell could be a PG. I've noticed he's working on keeping his dribble alive but I think he and Clarkson can play well with each other, they have chemistry going but Clarkson's defense is pure trash. I don't think either are the problem, you surround them with a 3 that can shoot and maybe a stretch PF and a Whiteside for example , shyt looks different.

Nah he needs to be the chucker. The passing is what's going to make him special

Agreed he does need to look for his own shot more. I've seen him make numerous passes and these dudes will miss the shot or not be ready like this.

Nah because if he misses or fukks up a few times he gets pulled for Lou Williams and doesn't see the 4th quarter. You can tell he is uncomfortable out there and doesn't want to make a mistake. He barely takes chances and doesn't turn it over.

Meanwhile Lou Will has to have the worst +/- on the team, and Huertas is out here playing YMCA pick up ball:aicmon:
Tarik Black, actually. Lou Will is middle of the pack, just above Kobe.

If you go back to the draft I said he could be good, so it's not hating on him, I'd play him at SG where the speed issue isn't as noticeable. I don't think Clarkson is a long term keeper, dude has all the trappings of a really good 6th man and him getting in the way of Russells development at the two.

And not taking someone because of a workout is how Thomas Robinson gets drafted over Drummond :francis:

Lakers learned from Jerry Buss the same guy who was blown away be Kobe's private workouts. I'll take their word that Okafor didn't impress them enough to take him over Russell who they loved his vision.

The Kings loved Thomas Robinson in the private workouts, sometimes dudes just have a bad day while other guys excel at workouts, they drafted him over Drummond because of their workouts.

There's no way to gauge his speed in a private workout where he's just taking jumpers with no defenders.

I think they worked him out twice, same thing with Russell. Okafor just didn't do it for them. :yeshrug:

:ehh:

After GS and Spurs there is a pretty big drop off in the west...

OKC will get up their if they can stay healthy but man their defense is BAD...I mean any team that gets the rebound and pushes can get any shot they want against this team and I don't see how getting Durant back changes that...

I'm trying to talk myself into Houston getting their shyt together and i am having to do a LOT of mental gymnastics:jbhmm:...

OKC is looking really bad with KD out and even when KD was there they didn't look like the OKC of years past. I came into this season thinking OKC was the team to beat :patrice:

When KD gets back and they aren't looking like a top 2 team in the West after a week or so of him being there, that's when I write them off :yeshrug:
