Hornets ball movement lookin magically delicious
Vonleh is an athletic cat, but can go throw some horrible stretches...Coli shytted on the Hornets heavily for that Vonleh/Batum trade, shyt looking pretty one sided. Batum needs to re-sign but Vonleh still looks like he has no idea how to play basketball.
who was coming off of an all-star season and was 22! It's not like he's 30+ and over the hill. He was young too. The team in general is actually quite young. They're just made out of glass.
Also, his injury issues began in New Orleans. In Philly he played 73, 82, 65 (the lockout year) and 78 games. In 2+ seasons in New Orleans he has played 81 games including today. Did anyone see that coming? Nope. I think people really forget how alarmed GM's were about Noel's knee. The Phoenix Suns do miracle acts on players but didn't wanna touch Noel. It woulda looked interesting had they been together, but they still woulda lost a ton and don't see the playoffs at all, which is a huge waste of 4+ years of AD.
go to the university of indiana when you're a top recruit, brehs.Vonleh is an athletic cat, but can go throw some horrible stretches...
Kid is still raw as hell....
If you had an all-NBA "I'm not a basketball player first team who would you have?"Coli shytted on the Hornets heavily for that Vonleh/Batum trade, shyt looking pretty one sided. Batum needs to re-sign but Vonleh still looks like he has no idea how to play basketball.
you trying say he should have went to Kentuckygo to the university of indiana when you're a top recruit, brehs.
If you have a once in a generation talent you're gonna do what you have to so that you don't have guys suggesting he leaves because the results aren't good. But saying they jeopardized their future by trading for a 22 year old all-star is crazy. They cashed in on what they saw as a finished product and sure thing. Unless you thought Jrue was wack from the beginning then you can't view it as anything other than bad luck.pretty sure philly knew of the injuries of jrue and knew they were trading damaged goods.
and four years of missing the playoffs with noel and davis? do you even realize how good of a defensive player noel already is? come on now, they would have made the playoffs last year with noel in place of jrue, be real. that first year might have gone terribly, like it did anyways, but at least they get a lottery pick out of it. they jeopardized their future to try to win now when their team was never made to win now. this isn't hindsight, they rushed the rebuilding process because they got a once in a generation talent.
He shoulda went to a mid major. Maybe his dumb ass woulda learned something and stayed.you trying say he should have went to Kentucky
Why did he get hyped so much going into the draft? He wasn't even that nice at Indiana. If you had an all-NBA "I'm not a basketball player first team who would you have?"
BTW, always thought Vonleh was a fraud
I came in here to post this. How the hell did he have more shots in 17 minutes than Wiggins in 37?Zach Lavine
25,3,3 in 17 mins
nah, we had plenty of NBA bigs, but there are FAR better options then fukking Indiana. I can only imagine what Clappy swayed him with.you trying say he should have went to Kentucky
Same reason a lot of bigs in college get hyped. The kid is powerful, and there's some definitely some potential. But transitioning to the NBA is a whole other beast....Why did he get hyped so much going into the draft? He wasn't even that nice at Indiana.
He looks the part. Why did he get hyped so much going into the draft? He wasn't even that nice at Indiana.
