PG looked great. Going to have a monster season offensively (fantasy basketball owners, draft that man) if he continues to see so much time at PF. His strength as a spot up/off screen shooter will be enhanced from all the open looks he'll get, and while he struggles to consistently take ordinary perimeter defenders off the dribble because his handles aren't strong, that'll be easier when defended by big men. I understand Indy's experiment here, think it could pay some solid dividends if they're smart about it and PG embraces the idea more. He won't be playing against the best power forward in the game every night
Like what I saw from Davis on the left block & elbow, if you thought he was good last year just wait. Expect a peak D Rob esque regular season from him
Pelicans pace tonight was night and day from last season. Gentry is going to turn that offense into a machine. Defensively not sure, but offensively the Pelicans should be one of the best units in the association.
