Shut up fakkit. You really shouldn't be talking especially since your Los Angeles Lakers passed up on Jahlil, Kristaps and Mudiay for slow ass D'Angelo Russell.

:mjlol1: :dead:
You have mentioned me 8 times tonight. This is beyond creepy.

I don't think this is Kobe's last season. He'll be back if the Lakers can get some key pieces to make them competitive next season and he can stay healthy.

pretty sure Sheed planted the seed in regards to the hook, Stan got him back on track this season, you could tell he was missing Sheed a bit last season though
Sheed got him to be aggresive and confident thats why u had guys like roy hibbertt bytching between drummond first and second years
Now hes becoming a bully and van gundy has equipped him with the tools to become a post gawd

For all the complaining about the NBA, we've been seeing a resurgence of talent all throughout the league.

Guys like Jackson, Drummond, Giannis, Kawhi, Lilliard, Whiteside etc are starting to look like potential stars that can be built around.

You got guys like Curry, Durant, Westbrook, George, Cousins, Lamarcus, Griffin, etc who are obvious blossoming stars.

And then you got this young crop of talent like Kristaps, Clarkson, Okafor, Stanley Johnson, Gobert, Towns, Justise, etc.

And even role players are starting to show out.

It's a good time for the league.

@Malta if you had to rate the 4 centers of Gobert, Drummond, Whiteside, and Cousins on a scale of 1-10 for offense, defense, and upside..how would you do it?

(Lets assume Hakeem is an 11 on offense, Bill Russel is the 11 on defense, and Rookie Shaq is the 11 as far as upside)

Or if that's too much, how would you rank them relative to each other?

Offense:
Boogie
Whiteside
Drummond
Gobert

Defense:
Gobert
Whiteside
Drummond
Boogie

Upside:
Drummond
Gobert
Whiteside
Cousins (It's hard to judge his upside though because he's in Sacramento but I don't think he'll ever have the defensive instincts of those 3)

The only one that I see reaching Boogie is Drummond. The other two are good but Boogie might be the best big in the league

I dunno, I think Boogie is easily the most offensively talented big in the league but I don't think his defense is ever gonna be better than "good". He doesn't seem to have the natural timing and defensive instincts as the other 3 and I like my big to be a defensive presence.

Drummond's offense has been impressing me but it's his defensive intelligence that is starting to make him stand out to me. He's using his size and quickness as a great deterrent, he's too strong to constantly go one on one in the post, and his timing for the ball is impeccable.

And about the other two Just being good...

Whiteside did just post a 20 point, 11 rebound, and 6 blocks in 24 minutes. That's not just "good" and Whiteside is effectively a sophomore player but he's showing you can't really plan for him outside of hoping he throws up bad shot.

Yea I didn't kno Whiteside was having that good of a start. He still pretty raw tho I guess he has more upside since he has more room to grow.

He's definitely raw but dude is playing 28 minutes (Less than Drummond and Gobert) but he's averaging more PPG than Gobert, the same amount of blocks, and 2 less rebounds.

Drummond is obviously shytting on dudes statistically but he's almost averaging 38 minutes a game.

Whiteside, to me, is like a great mixture of ability.

He's not as good as Gobert defensively (No one is) but he's one of the better deterrents and one of th best shot blockers in the league while being a better offensive player.

He's not quite as good a rebounder as Jordan but he's a much better offensive player and he's more versatile while still being an alley oop machine.

But Whiteside's biggest flaw is that he's relatively old compared to Drummond, Davis, Gobert, etc and he seems a tad injury prone. :francis:

When Whiteside learns to contain on the PnR instead of looking to swat shots :blessed:

I'm 0-2 on betting so far :snoop:

Anyway, wanted to say that Paul George is slowly gettin back to MVP candidate form
23/9/5

Obv if Steph keeps play in like this no one is taking it from him and we still got Davis, Harden, Durant trying to get into full form and oF course Westbrook playing out of his mind but George I feel like is right back to what he was before that gruesome injury

Gobert is DPOY by the jazz low-key got some solid players around him
Trey Burke seems to finally have got his jumper in shape. Raul Neto is a very good defender, Rodney Hood and Burke are playing well. Favors is looking like one of the top PFs

So shout out to the Jazz but my other team is starting to put it together too.
The bucks got Monroe and Giannis playing really well together. Their D is really fell off since last year but I think they'll get back on track and MCW and Jabari are gonna hopefully get back into the mix as the season rolls on
