Finally heard Kawhi speak for the first time in his career.

Popovich is an outstanding coach. I think he puts too much stock into being difficult and anti-social. His team has taken on that identity.

They act just like him. Its whatever to me, and they are successful at basketball. There is a difference between being professional and socially awkward. No...You don't need to be dancing on the sidelines.

But dag, learn how to talk to people. All of those dudes.

They win though...no doubt.

That's how Kawhi is though (at least according to stories of him after his pops passed). Manu and Parker are normal...they just have heavy accents. And I know you're not calling the Red Mamba or Boban socially awkward

Let's be reality brehs, this first round has been terrible so far. The closest game wasn't even compelling (Thunder-Mavs).

Most memorable highlight so far has been Sabo's pregame routine :bryan:

Going 7 killed the first round. Way too spread out now and lessens chances of upsets

In general I think too many teams make the playoffs. These lower seeds never have any shot to win a title there a waste of time

Not really

There's been more 8/1 upsets in the best of 7 format than there were in best of 5
And there's been nearly the same amount of 7/2 upsets in best of 7 that were in best of 5

And mind you they had best of 5 a good 5-6 years longer than they've had best of 7

It's still spread out way too long. 5 games moves much smoother

There's been very good lower seed performances in the first round though. That Bulls-Celtics first round series in 2009 was the most entertaining I've ever watched.

Yeah they'res been a handful very good ones but 99 percent are a waste of time and are spread out painfully long

:gag::gag::gag:

Going to a Clippers game is 0 minutes different from going to a Lakers game. Clippers are doing better no one's switching. If the Clippers moved to Anaheim, Laker fans ain't switching.

1 hr 15 mins extra to root for a new team, :scust:
You got die hard true Laker fans out here and you got a ton of "all things LA-whichever team is winning at the moment" fans as well. LA is a Laker town, probably always will be but if we can ever get our sh*t together in the post season there's a ton of fans standing on the fence waiting to make that leap over. Plus I'm dyin' to see how they follow the team with Kobe now gone. Next season is gonna be a real one for Laker fans

I'm sure everyone was wondering how we'd do after Jerry West and then what we'd do after Magic Johnson. The Lakers will be alright it'll just be a long down period.

I am glad someone called Clarkson out on his shytty defense, but Byron is way too confident that he will be a coach, I guess he got confirmation from Jeanie.

Skip Bayless is fukkin pathetic. Hopin Steph can't play against the Spurs. Cause he knows what we all know. If and when they play, I want the Spurs to be SLAUGHTERED LIKE LAMBS. :demonic:
They aren't

I'm thinking Durant will sign to Houston this summer and Russ will sign the next. Scotty Brooks should get the job .
