Scorched earth policy, maybe you can get Oladipo, Hezonja and their pick for Butler, they seem pressed to make the playoffs.
the same thing i said they needed to do 4 years ago
start from scratch
thats way too much to give up
Not really Okafor is expendable once Embiid is back and we get back an all star player in return, we still have our own pick as well, seems fair to me.the same thing i said they needed to do 4 years ago

I hate the thought of doing a deal with Orlando when they practically gave up Harris for free.
If that was Oladipo, Harris and a pick I'd say yes but it's not.
Philly would be giving us a pick outside of the top 3 if that was a Lakers pick so no it's not too much to give up in that case.

I don't love that trade. I don't knowScorched earth policy, maybe you can get Oladipo, Hezonja and their pick for Butler, they seem pressed to make the playoffs.
You probably rate Okafor higher than I do thenthat's not how you build a team
talented big with 3 years left on a rookie deal, plus the 5th pick in the draft (worse case scenario if the lakers dont keep their pick) for jimmy butler - a player with injuries who's gonna be thrown to a team with no other talent?
76ers would be best served to keep all of their picks and overpay a good player in free agent. at least in my opinion.![]()

What do you think about a swap centered around Jimmy / Boogie

If that trade would happen hypothetically Sixers potentially look like:that's not how you build a team

If that trade would happen hypothetically Sixers potentially look like:
PG: ????
SG: Butler / Stauskas
SF: Covington / Grant
PF: Simmons / Saric
C: Embiid / Noel
Not exactly a team with no talent![]()
if you're confident that embiid will be 100 percent healthy and stay that way, then that's another story
i'm not making that trade though. i'd continue taking my chances in the draft
if you insist on winning 30 games right away
pg - overpay rondo or conley
buddy hield
ingram
noel
okafor/embiid
