See, we was coming off a WCF trip and added Ty Lawson + a healthy Dwight. So we came into this season with high expectations.
So shortly after mchale got fired i had a typical water cooler talk at my job with some coworkers. One guy said the season was over point blank... this other guy was mr. optimistic and said nah it was still salvageable... I said shyt was
probably over but only chance would be if we got Thibs or someone else of that pedigre... but the idea of bringing in a new coach after the season had already started with no training camp or chance to implement a new philosophy or get organized.. even if we got Thibs, i said it'd be a tall task.
Mind you this was barely 15-20 games into the season, but a of number of fans in houston had
been tired of McHale from last season and that no-system inmates running the asylum non-structured offense. it's not so much a mchale thing as a culture thing with the ball club now since the same problems persist.. so the next coach needs to create a culture shift-- and part of that is probably some personnel changes anyway.
