Besides the fact it's only the Thunder's second game with their new system/rookie coach - how many teams actually run sets regularly in OT? By that point, your star players usually take over with the aid of whoever has the hot hand and whatever effort your team can muster to create points. Donovan has already said that despite implementing more ball movement (which is noticeable from the jump), he doesn't want Westbrook nor Durant to change their offensive approach. He's already mentioned he wants Westbrook to take the PG in the post as often as possible.

Their offense clearly wasn't the problem in this game, it was their defense - which certainly wasn't helped by the fact the Magic wouldn't miss during the first three quarters.

I can agree with all this, defense was clearly the problem I just didn't like the complete lack of ball movement in both OT's and the lack of fouls up 3 in both over times. Oladipo should have never even been in a position to make that game winning 3.

There has been more ball movement but it was hard to watch them go 2 on 5 in both overtimes. My statement was probably reactionary from just watching the game but despite the great win it seemed like the type of game I expected the thunder to move away from, but like kd said "sometimes you have to let your big dogs be big dogs"

Sam Mitchell is a hoe ass nikka for taking Towns out before he could get his 30-15 . fukk nikka, reward your rookie for DOMINATING his first 2 games of his career. I think that would have been the first 30-15 game ever for a teenager (unless Davis did it his rookie year, maybe I'm completely wrong though).

So to all the nikkas who said I sounded crazy saying Towns would be a 20-10 rookie you nikkas
