Not really related to today's game vs. Brooklyn, but found something weird with LeBron's jumper now vs. 2013. Obviously it's not as sharp as it was in Miami if you compare percentages but there's a reason for that mechanically speaking. His footwork is different. It looks a little sloppier now. I think it would solve some problems if he straightened himself a little when he rises and set his feet a little closer together like he did a few years ago. Seemed to work really well and his pull-up jumper was really good.
As an example, look through his shooting in the 2013 Finals vs. SA. He set his feet up pretty narrow, got great balance, form was tight.
Now, his feet are wider apart, and he jumps just a tad lower than he did in Miami on his shots. Form looks relatively the same I guess but I wonder if his drop-off had a little bit to do with his footwork (wouldn't solve how they run their actual offense really, but I think we'd see improvement if he worked on his form as hard as he did in Miami).
