Duncan rates better than Kawhi in almost in every single defensive stat.
oh damn I was sleep on the goat PF of all-time.
He definitely should be getting more recognition than he has been. All the attention has been on Kawhi, when Duncan's been just as important, if not more to the Spurs' D. Draymond has still been the most impactful defender this season. I still wouldn't be mad if they gave it to Duncan on some lifetime achievement shyt - as meaningless as the award is - he deserves it.
Still issues with the unforced turnovers, but he's looking a lot better since coming back from injury. Still a long way to go, but the flashes of potential are there.

It's gotta be Kawhi. Draymond is in the mix, as well as Duncan. Gobert might make a run at it, now that hes healthy.
Whiteside is actually not that great defensively. He makes so many mistakes and just tries to block everything, including pump fakes..
To me its Paul George and Anthony Davis should be up there too but George is just like Kawhi but with less blocks and steals and Davis has a terrible defensive team around him

Still have doubts about him ever being good enough on offense to become a perennial all star but his defensive potential is off the charts for sure
