I'm not trying to pick but we can point to a few bad contracts (boozer, rip, Ben wallace) some bad draft choices (snell over Tim Hardaway jr, deing and plumlee, and sending 2 picks for mcdermott ain't looking that great either) needing a 2 guard not trading for one in 2011 when that was our best shot to get past the heat, not getting any value for asik, not selling high on deng (Barnes and warriors 7th pick would be doing wonders for us now, not to mention we could have gotten monta Ellis for him, again would be putting us over the top.) How about letting melo put us in the limbo game and missing out on getting afflalo for pennies on the dollar, this after letting lebron and wade do the same thing to us in 2010 leaving us in the nba bargain bin grabbing Korver brewer Watson and bogans. Choosing rip Hamilton over Jamal crawford. I mean the list that shows these guys are mediocre , not bad, but mediocre is long.I've been critical of the bulls fo but signing pau for 7 mil a year,drafting taj and butler with the 26th and 30th picks and acquiring mirotic for a 23rd pick + hiring thibs isn't mediocre can they be more proactive yea but they're better than mediocre.
So if we can point out as many blunders as good moves that's a .500 record which makes them mediocre.

I agree about the '13 draft they fukked up and missed multiple players not just one
The free agency you can't do nothing about bulls tried with lebron,wade,bosh and melo.ALL them nikkas had their minds made up before jerking the bulls and other teams around melo was at least a real possibility.The bulls were willing to trade deng Thibs insisted on keeping him cuz deng was in jimmys current role the last 3 years.I remember hearing cowley say thibs was dead set on keeping deng.It's too early on mcdermott he'll be the startin sf of the future and will eventually be a solid player I refuse to write him off this quick.Every front office has their hits and misses in drafts and free agency
Regardless the bulls are legit title contenders and will be for the next 3 years because of the moves the fo has made which is better than having the kings fo or doc rivers dumb ass making decisions
