Waiters with the dagger. He honestly looks quite comfortable in the offense and they're willing to let him shoot and pass it to him. He might turn out to be a good fit if he can help their offense late, especially not make it so obvious with Durant/Westbrook always shooting. Although Durant was clutch as fukk tonight, dropping in those Dirk like shots, the guy is just unstoppable from 15-18 feet with those turn arounds and spins and one foot fadeaways, doesn't even seem fair.

I also don't think Reggie gets paid this offseason so he might comeback. Honestly not a lot of teams need point guards, especially ones that aren't really cut out to be a great starter or anything. There's so much in flow of talent from college and depth already in the league that I can see them getting him back for quite cheap with the new deal coming in.

Also where do you guys think Kanter ends up? Honestly I could see the Celtics picking him up as it makes sense to me, the guy is still young and probably wouldn't mind playing in Boston since he'd be coming from Utah. Not exactly the best defensive prospect or anything, but he could be another ASSET for them while they see if he can continue developing on their team.

The Knicks or Pistons will go after Reggie.

He posted up 23% of the time last season and while that's a decent clip he wasn't necessarily good at it, so you're really not making a very good case for a non-offensive PG and post player working together -
How did you figure that? He was well above average at it, 72nd percentile which as I said is pretty good.

If you agree that MCW isn't a complimentary piece to Embiid what are you really arguing breh, are you arguing just for the sake of it? The Sixers have Embiid, Nerlens and Saric, that is 3 positions where they aren't getting 3 point shooting which leaves just PG and SG for those roles, so MCW not being able to shoot will be detrimental to the development of the team. The Sixers would have the same problem the Hornets currently have, only worse since MCW is an even worse shooter than Kemba and Nerlens is worse for spacing than Zeller or Marvin.
My point is that what you're saying about MCW is far too definitive with so much up in the air for that team. There are plenty of situations where players aren't a perfect fit, even on the better teams but this can be almost entirely mitigated by the depth, well roundedness or balance of the squad as a whole. There's probably 2 more off-seasons worth of roster moves to be made before that is even in sight for Philly and we don't find out if Saric pans out for at least a year. To that point Noel and Saric play the 4 and chances are they end up dealing whichever turns out to be the lesser of the two. They have nobody on the wings so that's actually two spots to fill not one.

Like I said being able to put bigs on the floor that can step out makes more of a difference. Charlotte lost two shooting big men from their rotation in Mcbob and Tolliver and Marvin has not replaced their production. That speaks to their issues with spacing more than the guard situation does as that is largely the same With Lance playing similar to Sessions in the scoring stakes.

I don't think the Pistons will, it doesn't really make much sense if Jennings continues his post-Josh Smith play. He's also not the type of point guard SVG prefers with his inability to shoot very well.

Same thing with the Knicks, I don't think Reggie would make for a very good triangle point guard with his lack of jump shot and ability to space the floor and he's quite a high usage player as well.

I doubt either team would throw that much money at him either as SVG isn't Dumars and Phil isn't a moron looking to overpay for a point guard when they're a dime in a dozen.
