They've won one game since November 28th. 1 game in FIVE WEEKS.. It doesn't matter what kind of long term plan you have, losing that much will destroy anything you're trying to work on.
But the team is young and often injured (didnt you tell me to give the knicks a pass because of this?) Durant went 20–62 his rookie year Im willing to wait :ehh:

I don't know. Besides my phone updating me, I haven't paid too much attention to the game.

I can't remember a team missing a player so much in a very long time.

My bad, I meant players.

Rubio, Pek and K-Mart. I nee them back ASAP.

We don't have a Kevin Durant. We don't have a new coach on the way. We don't have a new owner on the way. shyt, there isn't even a scenario where Westbrook's right around the corner.

and it's not that I'm surprised that they're losing (despite what this forum wants to believe, Rubio IS that valuable). It's that nothing good comes of it, especially here.

There's two scenarios that come from all of this losing.

1. the team turns on each other and points fingers. That's hardly helpful to guys we hope don't plot on getting the fukk outta here in a few years.

2. the players are unfazed, which makes them losers who are too comfortable walking away losing.

11 years of this shyt and the overwhelming majority of it has been "well don't judge them on wins and losses." My question is, by the time it's OK to actually give a shyt about the W-L column, will we have shattered the all-time record for most consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance?

There are no Kevin Durants or Russell Westbrooks on Minnesota's roster.

This is exactly why I want the Lakers to be competitive for the rest of the season and somehow make it to 30+ wins with Kobe playing efficiently. fukk that draft pick, they'll be able to attract some of these free agents if they play well enough.

I'm gonna bookmark this post somewhere and bring it back this fall or something when everyone wonders how they're losing money.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
@Malta

Bucks coach Jason Kidd said Larry Sanders is out due to “personal reasons” and there is no timetable for his return.

Kidd said Sanders is not taking part in any team activities.

I asked for details: Kidd said, “It’s just personal. There’s nothing I can give you more. That’s the way the question will be answered.”

Pau with 29 pts, 16 rebs, 5 blks

:wow:
Can you imagine how fukking terrifying OKC would have been had they made an effort to acquire Pau last season? Some people thought I was buggin' for saying the Lakers had to get more than a single first round pick for him.

how to win a game. How to put 48 minutes of hard work and hours of practice together with an actual reward to take out of a game, not believing that this is how it's gonna be for a long time, you know, shyt ANY functioning basketball team with pride would judge themselves on.
I don't think we're far along enough into the careers of your Dieng, Bennett, Lavine, Wiggins, Shabazz for that to be a major concern. Fact is no matter how much grind and practice they put in, they're not better than the teams they're losing to and that can only ever make sense. I think it's only when a team underachieves relative to its talent or expectations that the atmosphere becomes poisonous but I guess it sucks to watch as a fan either way.

Young players are hopeful and high off their own potential in a way that 's extremely hard to kill and Flip doesn't strike me as the type to let players fukk around. The reward will come once the talent has matured. For now, Rubio comes back and if nothing else adds a great deal of coherency to the offense, Pek comes back and gives you consistent scoring down low while Kmart helps spread the floor. I see the Wolves stealing some wins once everybody is healthy so it really ain't as bad as you're making it out to be.
