It has become in vogue to hate on rondo here. Guess it's going to take more games, have you watched any of this celtics game? Rondo is killing them, orchestrating the offense and leading the team. He has made them better.
I've watched 90% of Celtics games this season and about 80% of Mavs games. How many have you watched? :usure:

You don't have to defend every Kentucky player yaknow.

I wish Rondo's punk ass would've had a couple games like this before he got traded, maybe we could've gotten more than a late 1st and some bench scrubs for him.

NEW YORK -- With the New York Knicks in the midst of a throwaway season, coach Derek Fisher has acknowledged the possibility that Carmelo Anthony might eventually sit out the remainder of the campaign due to a knee injury.

Anthony has been playing with soreness in his left knee since the second game of the season.

"From the conversations I've been a part of, I think everybody is smart enough to realize, calendar wise, timing wise, that there may come a point that that's the decision that needs to be made," Fisher said Friday. "But [we realize] that we can't force Carmelo to that point just yet."

Fisher reiterated Friday that any decision to shut down Anthony for the season would be made with input from both Anthony and the Knicks organization.

"We can't unilaterally just say, 'Hey, you know, you can't play for the rest of the season because of A, B and C,'" Fisher said. "I think our medical staff, our training staff, continue to have conversations with him about where he is. He's conversing with us about how he's feeling, what the symptoms are. And so as each day kind of unfolds, decisions are being made. It's not something that we're just kind of stepping back and saying, 'Carmelo, you kind of tell us when you don't feel like playing anymore.'"

Knicks tanking for Towns :wow:

I'm not trying to defend him, I just think he gets an unfair amount of shyt on here. Rondo is such a tempermental motherfukker, he's like Cousins in that respect. He didn't like his situation in boston, I mean, he's playing with fukking Tyler Zeller. Rondo is the type of player that doesn't look very good when he isn't surrounded by a solid amount of talent (take that how you will, it's a positive and negative thing in certain situations). His game is built on trying to feed the ball to his teammates in scoring positions. That game comes to a hault when not surrounded by good players. I'm not saying the players on boston are god awful or don't belong in the league, but they're young as all fukk and are in the very very early stages of rebuild mode and rondo didn't want to be apart of that. I'm not saying he doesn't have flaws in his game or personality, I just always thought once this trade happened that he would be performing a lot better (from what I've seen, he has). He's one of the best passers in the league and in that aspect I've always loved watching him.
