Coli.
:dead:

Nah, his heart wasn't in it after the Lakers tried trading him numerous times. He only stayed as long as he did because of Kobe.
:stopitslime: All NBA players know they can be traded any day, if he let being almost traded affect how he played, he is a bytch. Get paid millions and be a bytch:mjlol:

You're not serious with all this are you?

Did you forget that he was basically traded to Houston in that Paul deal that was vetoed? Not only that but Brown and 'Antoni failed to use him properly.

Unbelievable just a season ago Gasol was in a gown at the :flabbynsick: Estate, now he's back to being a top 5 PF.
That's what happens when you play for a coach who doesn't believe in posting up even when you have a top 5 post threat in the league. D'antoni was of the belief that post ups are the least efficient play in basketball. It was obvious he killed Pau's spirit.

The power of the post, you got corpses like Jermaine Oneal out here still getting work cause of their belief in the low block :wow:

Pau seen Tim playing at 62 years young and said he can still be effective as well.

I was one of the very few that was defending Pau last season (and the season before that). He came through in the end. :mjcry:

I put it more down to him being in a better environment with a team that has an identity. Hitherto dudes were just denouncing him because he didn't wanna go down in the post (there's only a slight increase in his post activity compared to last season), a defensive sieve (still gets stuck in mud with the guard on the PNR) and putting up empty stats (his production/efficiency is basically the same as last season). Difference is he's buying into Thibs' team milieu and he's being used to the best of his abilities, even if it's coming at the cost of playing too many minutes.

I have not see him protect the rim in this manner since the 2010 playoffs.

Pau just wasn't necessarily inspired to play good ball because he was in a place that more or less cared little about him.

I didn't care for the Pau acquisition when originally happened either but it panned out. I ain't eem mad :manny:

This Kobe hated Pau myth is something that needs to stop. Kobe loved Pau and seemed like the only person in the Lakers organization that rode for him.

Exactly. This is something that gestated on kobe fanboy forums and invented itself. It has zero basis in reality.
