Yeah I personally would have kept wiggins and used that extra cap room to add depth

Love only makes about $4.5 million more than Wiggins & Bennett combined. You could probably add a decent bench player with that but it's not like it's the difference between getting a gamechanger

i agree. bennett could be moved for a pick pretty easy though

i feel you, i just think a team with 2 offensive stars are probably better off adding depth over another offensive star who can't defend

wiggins+ed davis+carlos boozer+darren collison is cheaper than love, and that unit would probably help cleveland more than love even though he is more "valuable".

Eh, that hypothetical team still wouldn't win anything unless Wiggins pans out. But I get your overall point.

For the time being, the Cavs are just going have to hope that they either draft a rim protector or they can find one on the trade market that they can buy low on.

The problem is they probably thought they'd get elite level production from Love to offset the horrible defense. All the preseason articles were talking about how the Cavs should have an all-time great offense.

Hell I've said since the rumors started flying Love wasn't the fit they didn't think it would be and how I'd rather the Cavs gone after an athletic defensive big over going after Love. Even with that said I didn't think he would be nearly as up and down as he's been this year.
