Didn't know where else to post this, but has anyone seen what Brady Heslip is doing in the D league?

He plays in the same crazy ass system that lead to that kid scoring 120something points in the NCAA a couple years ago. So far this year hes averaging 33 points a game while taking an average of 15 3s a game. The crazy thing is that he's shooting the 3 at a 55% clip. That's 8 3s a game. Its fukking insane.

I can see a variation of it being implemented in the league, this decade.

"Full-court press for the entire game, constant five-man substitutions, an emphasis on getting three-pointers and layups early in the shot clock. "

It's basically 'Antoni's system with the D.

I've watched him play for years, shooting is the only thing he can do(although he really might be the best 3 point shooter in the world), he's a 6'1 SG with no handle. If he got on an NBA roster he'd instantly be the least athletic guy in the league.

I don't think he could play in the NBA outside of a freak system like the one he plays in.

Yeah a five man full-press will never be practical, but a 3-4 man constant one would have results.
